Leader in Application Performance Solutions for Business Efficiency adds VP of Sales Operations and Promotes Three Executives to New Senior Management Positions

PARIS, France, June 25, 2012 – Ipanema Technologies, the industry leader in application performance solutions over the WAN for business efficiency, continues to strengthen its management team to address growth opportunities worldwide, adding Jerome Soistier as Vice President of Sales Operations and promoting three executives to new senior management positions in the company -- Francois Lecerf as CTO and co-founder, Alain Dupont as Vice President of Technical Operations, and Beatrice Piquer-Durand as Vice President of Marketing. All four executives will be based in Ipanema’s headquarters in Paris.

One of the Company’s founders and previously Ipanema’s VP of Engineering, Lecerf brings more than 20 years’ experience in the design of numerous telecommunications products to his new role as the company’s CTO. Prior to Ipanema, Lecerf was co-founder and Vice President of Engineering and Manufacturing at Synaptel until its acquisition by the Interphase Corporation in 1987. At Interphase, he was Chief Technology Officer for Europe. Lecerf is an Ecole Supérieure d'Electricité graduate.

Dupont, who joined Ipanema as one of the first employees, will expand on his earlier roles overseeing software integration and later worldwide technical support for the company in his new position as Vice President of Technical Operations.  He previously served as Ipanema’s Director of Customer Care. Prior to joining Ipanema in 2000, Dupont led integration teams for large governmental projects at Cap Gemini, Thales and CS Telecom. He is an Ecole Centrale d’Electronique graduate.

Piquer-Durand, who was most recently Ipanema’s Director of Corporate Marketing, brings more than 18 years’ experience to her new role as Vice President of Marketing. She joined Ipanema in 2001 to establish the worldwide marketing team in support of sales development.  Piquer-Durand, who has extensive business and management experience in IT and telecommunications, previously held senior marketing positions for Thomson Multimedia (Technicolor), Catalliances (Prodware) and Interface Data. She has a Master’s degree in Marketing and Sales Management from the Ecole Supérieure de Vente de Paris and an executive MBA from HEC.

As Ipanema’s Vice President of Sales Operations, Soistier will be responsible for supporting business activities and implementing processes to help the sales organization run effectively and efficiently, working across geographies worldwide. Over the past 15 years, he has held a variety of management positions in the IT, telecommunications and utilities industries. He worked in marketing and sales at Ingram Micro -- in the U.S. and France -- and at Alcatel he was Vice President for Operations and Vice President of Sales for Western Europe. He also served as Managing Director of Sales for Poweo and Managing Director for Greenflex, a service company in sustainable development that he co-founded. Soistier has an MBA from Duke University.
