2 Supports Engineer - France

 

Requirements:

  • Understanding of networking especially TCP/IP,
  • Knowledge of MPLS network, Classes of Service (CoS) is a distinct advantage,
  • Cisco IOS familiarity, ability to quickly understand enterprise network topologies,
  • Knowledge of Windows 2000/2003, Solaris (9 and/or 10) a plus,
  • Languages: English and French, others languages like German can be a distinct advantage,
  • Good working relationship,
  • Based in Fontenay Aux Roses

 

Responsibilities:

  • Support to users for company’s products configuration and troubleshooting,
  • Installation and configuration of network simulation platforms,
  • Interfacing between users and developers for the identification and resolution of system faults.

 

Qualifications:

  • Certified engineer in Networking, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience required,
  • 0 to 2 years experience in a networking environment,
  • CCNA a plus.

1 Post Sales Consultant- France

 

Requirements:

  • Background in OSS/BSS or enterprise/service management,
  • Excellent understanding of networking especially TCP/IP but also familiarity with underlying transport mechanisms such as Frame Relay, MPLS, ATM, Leased Line, MPLS Network, Classes of Service etc,
  • Must have a very strong networking, switching and routing background (L2 & L3),
  • Knowledge of windows 2000/2003, Solaris (9 and/or 10) a plus,
  • Strong organisational skills,
  • Languages: English and French, others languages like German can be a distinct advantage,
  • Good working relationship,
  • Willing to travel,

Ingénieur avant-ventes - France

 

Mission :
Intervenant au sein de l’équipe commerciale, il aura pour mission de valoriser au niveau technique les actions de prospection et de vente entreprises en amont par les ingénieurs commerciaux et les partenaires de la société :

  • mise ne œuvre de la solution in situ
  • mise en évidence de la valeur spécifique de la solution proposée au regard du contexte propre au client approché
  • préconisation de la solution technique optimale
  • réalisation de pré-études techniques et économiques
  • coordination du déploiement chez le client

 

Profil souhaité :

  • 30-35 ans idéalement, avec une solide formation technique et une bonne maîtrise des technologies réseaux TCP/IP.
  • Expérience de 5-10 ans d’avant-ventes et/ou de gestion de projet de solutions à forte composante technologique dans le secteur des réseaux et/ou dans le traitement de l’information et des systèmes applicatifs en réseau.
  • Maîtrise de l’anglais, pratique d’une troisième langue appréciée.
  • Bon communicateur et doté d’une excellente capacité d’écoute ainsi que d’un réel sens commercial, il devra faire preuve à la fois d’énergie, de réactivité, de créativité, de rigueur et d’esprit de responsabilité.

Pre Sales Engineer - Switzerland

 

The successful candidate must be comfortable both in a highly technical pre-sales environment, designing an implementation with a customer, and supporting them post-deployment.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Provide intensive pre- and post-sales technical consulting to prospective customers and channel partners
  • Participating in conference calls and customer visits
  • Make technical designs and presentations
  • Oversee the customer proposal process to ensuring the solution and recommendations address all customer requirements.
  • Support Account Management.
  • Investigate new solution areas for product extensions
  • Train customers to master the products & fit them into their portfolio
  • Design and run Beta/Eval & Pilot evaluations while maintaining a professional and productive manner
  • Key skills will be the ability to:
  • Ability to perform technical qualification
  • 5+ years experience in a pre-sales role within the local territory
  • Ability to successfully go complete sales presentations on one’s own.
  • Must have very strong networking, switching, and routing background (L2 & L3)
  • Willing to travel, work odd hours, and be very available.
  • Excellent business writing and presentation skills.
  • Instinctive understanding of what it is to give service
  • Resides in the targeted geography w/local relationships
  • Good working relationship with key local resellers/SP’s

 

Qualifications:

  • BS/BA in relevant field (CS, EE, MIS)
  • Cisco IOS familiarity, ability to quickly understand enterprise network topologies and constraints. Completely understand how to configure networking under both Unix and NT.
  • WAN/Traffic optimization skills are a plus

Software Developer based in France

 

Responsibilities:

  • Design software in accordance with design criteria and performance objectives, 
  • Perform system design and resolve hardware/software implementation tradeoffs with hardware engineers.
  • Perform functional tests of software and hardware/software systems.
  • Prepare proposals, labor and cost estimates, and work schedules to meet completion dates,
  • Prepare software documentation, test procedures, instruction manuals and related information,
  • Coordinate work activities with other engineers.
  • Maintain current knowledge regarding new developments and trends in software engineering and related fields,
  • Perform other related design assignments as required.
  • Knowledge of C/C++, revision control systems, Unix/Linux development environment, as well as Windows cross-development desirable.

 

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (with computer and software emphasis), Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience required. Advanced degree and/or additional applicable experience required for higher levels,
  • Knowledge of, and experience in embedded software engineering principles, practices, and techniques commonly employed in the design of products,
  • Position requires a high degree of creativity, engineering skill and independent judgment.
