The Ipanema Mobile Agent (IMA™) delivers the full ANS feature set to mobile users and small offices without any locally deployed hardware.
IMA runs on any Windows laptops and desktops. It extends tele|engine capabilities with the same WAN Optimization as an ip|engine.
IMA is compatible with leading VPN clients and allows a seamless delivery of ANS features to users at home or other remote location. When users are back within branches equipped with an ip|engine, IMA automatically detects and leverages the appliance for improved service.
Automatically cooperating with the other components of ANS, IMA agents deployed in the same branch are coordinated to guarantee the required performance for critical applications; regardless of the combined activity of the users. Without additional hardware, branch office optimization with IMA is a valid – and cost effective – alternative to appliances.
